As part of the Embodied Wellness Core Membership, you have access to a limited number of live classes that are held online. You'll be able to attend an Awareness Through Movement® class, the Culinary Celebrations Gathering, and a Taste Of Mindfulness each month. However, with the Embodied Wellness Plus+ Membership, you have access to unlimited Awareness Through Movement® classes, Nourishing Fundamentals Group Coaching, and so much more.
All of the classes are held via Zoom — a video-based online platform. For our movement classes, this allows your instructor to customize her/his teaching based on what you do. For all of our events, you'll have an opportunity to learn with one of our instructors and engage with your fellow members.

This membership can keep you moving. Why? Because it can be challenging to get to a class as frequently as we'd like. Class schedules don't always work with the schedules of our lives, bad weather can keep us away, or we might simply hunger for more than just a 'one day a week' experience. Heck, here in the USA there are many communities that don't even have a local Feldenkrais Practitioner® or offer regular meditation classes.
That's why we offer online classes that you can do in the comfort of your own home. And since the scheduled times of the live classes don't work for everyone, we also offer an opportunity to learn on your own via our online courses and library.
That said, practicing with others is different than practicing alone. Yet both are a vital part of having an ongoing practice. So please, if you have an instructor or meditation community in your area, then join others in moving & finding stillness and let this platform support your home practice!

Buffy Owens is a Guild Certified Feldenkrais Practitioner® and Functional Medicine Certified Health Coach. Her journey with the Feldenkrais Method® and Meditation began in the early 1990's. During that same time, she was introduced to the idea of using food as medicine and the importance of Community Supported Agriculture.
Today, Buffy has a steadfast passion for helping people to move beyond pain and into a life that fills them up — from the inside and out!
Most of the people that she works with have been suffering from complex pain for so long, that the idea of getting back to living a life they love seems impossible. She helps them to gain the knowledge, skill, and awareness that's necessary to shift from a life of suffering to one of meaning and joy.
Sarah Ferreira is an Integrative and Functional Nutrition Certified Practitioner, Registered Dietitian Nutritionist and Certified Health and Wellness Coach. Sarah is dedicated both to the art and science of cutting-edge nutritional care and to the joyful use of food to nourish and support resilience.
Nourishment takes many forms, one of which is the food that we choose. Through a strengths-based integrative nutrition approach, Sarah helps her clients to learn how to truly nourish themselves. They are encouraged to develop a healthy relationship with food and to reclaim their nutritional wellbeing so that they can normalize digestive function and experience more energy and vitality in their lives.
Jon Aaron first came across meditation in the 1970s, and then became more involved with the Insight Meditation community in the late 1990s, studying mindfulness meditation and Buddhism, which have since become central to his life. Along the way, Jon was asked to become a Practice Leader and started formally training to teach.
Jon trained in Mindfulness Based Stress Reduction with the Center for Mindfulness at the University of Massachusetts Medical Center, which has granted him full certification as an MBSR teacher. He has taught over 65 cycles of the seminal curriculum, as well as numerous courses for alumni of the program. He is a co-founding member of New York Mindfulness Meditation Collaborative.
Following an interest in working with people struggling with trauma, Jon studied with the Somatic Experiencing Trauma Institute, which as qualified him as a Somatic Experiencing Practitioner®, having completed the 3-year professional training.
I'm new to the Feldenkrais Method® and/or Meditation. Will this be suitable for me?
Yes! The membership is designed to be very welcoming and appropriate for beginners as well as for people who have experience. In fact, we've got some special beginners' courses and series to help you to get started.
How Does The Membership Work?
The membership consists of two primary components.
#1 The On-Demand Library: The library gives you instant access to recorded lessons, guided meditations, nourishing immersions, and more.
#2 Live Classes + Gatherings: As a Embodied Wellness Core Member you'll have access to an Introductory Awareness Through Movement® Class plus an additional Feldenkrais® Class, our monthly Culinary Celebrations Gathering, and a monthly Taste Of Mindfulness. Registration is required for these events and you'll be able to register inside the membership portal.
As a Embodied Wellness Plus+ Member you can register for as many Awareness Through Movement® class as you'd like, join in on the quarter coaching programs, attend the monthly events, and more. Registration is required for these events and you'll be able to register inside the membership portal.
It's important to remember that the fee for this membership is an automatically recurring payment based on the payment option you choose. If you choose to purchase the Annual payment, it will automatically recur on the anniversary of your sign up date. You are always free to cancel at any time.
Can I view the course material on my smartphone or tablet?
Yes! The course is completely responsive and will work on your computer as well as any mobile device you choose. So don't fret, you can have easy access to your movement and meditation on-the-go.
Will I get immediate access?
Yes and No. Some of the courses within the Membership are set to 'drip' out the lessons so that you have time to absorb the learning. Other courses are actually more of a growing Library and not true courses. For those, you'll have immediate access.
How long do I have access to the materials?
You have unlimited access to all of the Embodied Wellness Membership on-demand library and live classes for as long as you are enrolled as a member.
The number of classes that you receive depends on which membership you are enrolled in.
What if I decide that this Membership isn't for me?
We would never want you to be unhappy!
That's why we offer a free trial period. This gives you the opportunity to get a taste of the membership and decide if it's a good fit for you. If not, simply cancel before your trial ends and no charges will be made to your account.
After that, you can easily cancel at any time.
May I share my login with others?
We want families to move and learn together. So, your login information to the on-demand is good for your whole household. However, you cannot share your login information with anyone outside of your home. In addition, the classes, coaching, or meditation series may not be shared.
